The Strength Behind Fuel-Local®
Fuel-Local® was created by IDEAL Energy Cooperative (Independents Delivering Energy Aligned Locally), a cooperative founded in 2019 by independent, locally owned delivered-fuel and HVAC service providers who share a common vision: to strengthen local businesses, support one another, and help consumers better understand the value of choosing local energy.
Together, IDEAL Member-Owners launched Fuel-Local to give a collective voice to the businesses that have been serving their communities for generations. Through education, storytelling, and community engagement, the movement celebrates the people, businesses, and relationships that make local energy an essential part of strong, resilient communities.
